Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Looks like they crossed over onto Ridley Scott’s universe in a few scenes. Interesting to see an urban setting ina Star Wars movie.

As someone who hates 90% of the star wars movies and is sick to death of that **** this actually looks somewhat interesting
Pretty much. The last two trilogies were absolute dreck. The Star Wars TV shows, however, have been awesome -- even Book of Boba Fett had great moments although it was hit and miss and the ending sucked.

Consider me pumped. The TV shows are what the prequels and last trilogies should have been.

If Lucas had just aged up Anakin to 12-13 in the Phantom Menace it would have solved a lot of the problems with the Prequels.

But I will die on the hill that Revenge of the Sith is the best out of the PT/ST trilogies.

Revenge of the Sith is fine. I agree it’s a good movie. The worst part of it though is the dialogue and chemistry between Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen.

I watched Clone Wars and am now watching Rebels. I hope Ahoska makes an appearance. She's my new favorite Star Wars character.
Dave Filoni (who basically has creative control over the SW universe along with Jon Favreau) did both the Clone Wars and Rebels, so a lot of the characters and storylines from those shows are popping up in the new shows. I haven't watched either, but both shows are quickly becoming essential viewing.

I like to compare Anakin and Padme's relationship to the Boys. In the beginning of the Boys Hughie and his girlfriend have a conversation where he works that is like a couple of minutes long before she is taken out completely. That short scene did more in making me believe they were in a great relationship and good for each other than the entire prequel trilogy did with Anakin and Padme.

90% of Clone Wars is amazing. Wasn’t crazy about the first season of Rebels, but it gets much better.

you really should watch both of you have time.

Did I just see an aquatic Death Star in that trailer or nah?

Spoiler: It gets blown up by the rebels.

The prequels made ewan mcgregor, Liam neason, and Natalie Portman seem like absolutely god awful soap opera actors. I watched the first prequel movie my senior year of HS. I actually won opening night tickets and the soundtrack and a poster from a radio contest being the 11th caller. Was wild. It was such an awful movie it ruined to whole damn thing. Didn’t watch the other 2.

One thing I think we can all agree on is Jar Jar Binks was the worst character in any Star Wars movie. I mean when he speaks English and you still need to have closed captioning to understand him they did it all wrong.

I'd actually love to see Favreau or Filoni produce a really badass Disney+ Star Wars show that stars an elderly, bitter Jar Jar Binks (minus the speech impediment) and Rose Tico. Nobody in the world would expect the two worst characters from the two worst trilogies to be brought back, paired up, and redeemed. XD

Somewhere in the deep depths of Reddit or 4Chan this has already been written and illustrated.
