That guy really brought the intensity. I have one of the last known pairs of the golden drinking glasses, into which many cheapo, yet delicious gin and tonics were poured. We bought those for 8$ each the night of the peach bowl and brought them to be refilled with various things (for only a buck) countless times. All the bar tenders were really cool. I have to give a kind word to Mr. Crissy too. I hear lots of folks complain about him, and granted I haven't had to work for him nor his wife....but that guy has always been one of the nicest bar/restaurant owners I have ever come across.

call in sick, piss off in-laws, or do whatever I had to do to avoid that place. It's that ******. Hell, I got sick eating there once - on top of the horrible service.

you went anyway? Man, you're dumb. Gives the whole "Give Henig a chance" statement new perspective. And if the food sucked ***, you deserved it.

It does have to be a front, because there is no way that place should still be open. It is an atrocity.
Hey asshat, I had to go to a planned event.

There were 2 events there at the time and the attendees were just about the only people in the place - meaning nearly everybody didn't decide to go there. If not for the 2 events, the wait staff would have outnumbered the customers.

They quit doing it a long time ago. Apparently, they did not factor in that students, if given the opportunity, would sit around and drink cheap beer and buy food. After all, who could have seen that coming?

Lisa was a ***** 90% of the time. My wife used to work in the office for them for awhile. I agree about Shannon. He was very personable but actually had the business sense to go with it. He didn't get fired, he left for something that I can't quite remember. He came back and started the Green Burrito or some crap like that in Coconuts.

The last time I went in there I ordered the so called etoufee. It tasted like pond water. I couldn't eat it. I ate the french fries which weren't too bad. The waitress was as sharp as a box of rocks. The place sucks ***. Don't go. I feel bad giving such a horrible review, but this wasn't the first time I had been totally disappointed in the place. I thought maybe they had worked out their problems, but damn it sucked. And they are damn proud of their ****** food and service cause the bill was a little high for the crappy experience.

The first time around though, I loved their food (notablly the crawfish quesadilla) but their service has always been god awful. Good drinks and beer specials with a large selection and well trained bartenders. Don't know if thats still the case. Owner is a very nice guy and will sit down and drink with you
