An RV Resort is being developed in Starkville just off campus and accross the street from the Hampton Inn. I and 23 other MSU fans have pre-purchased lots. The site will have 44 lots with full utilities and since you own the lots your RV can be left on site. If you or anyone you know who has an RV who might have an interest, contact the Developer Steve Roberts at 662-803-2983.

Are you talking about at the old burger king location? Or where the old movie theater was?

That is the last thing you see before you hit campus. That would suck if it was developed into an RV Park.

There are hundreds of thousands of things that can go there, but the investors and zoning board choose an RV park? Once aGAIN, Starkville the "Retirement Community" trumps Starkville the "College Town".

It is not the location where the old Burger King and Movie Theater was. It is directly behind the shopping center where Corkys Liquor store is and diagionally accross the street from the Hampton Inn on Lincoln Green Road. This development will be an upscale RV Resort similar to one in Athens, Georgia for the University of Georgia fans. The city of Starkville before approving this development made sure that all of their concerns were addressed to prevent this from becomming a trailer park. Thisshould be a development that the city, MSU and the owners should be proud of. I certaintly hope so since I am investing in a lot.

are you talking about? It's not on the main drive of campus. And it will actually look pretty nice when it's finished. And you can bet the RV's, when they are there, won't look like Eddie's from Christmas Vacation.

It's within a 10-15 minute walk to the Junction and doesn't cost the University any normal parking spaces. Plus anyone that brings an RV to MSU games probably has a little bit of cash to play with anyways so I doubt they'd be signing up for your typical trailer park.

And RV resorts typically have brick paved drives that can support 35,000lbs coaches?

There is one off Canal street near the interstate. I'm assuming it will be similar to that.

Something told me that I should not even waste my time posting the information about this RV Resort but I wanted to be sure that all Bulldog Fans were made aware of it should they have an interest. Again, the Development is not in the Cotton Mills Project. With the Landscaping requirements the City placed on the Developer most people will never know that there is an RV Resort there. Finally, I will pass along to at least two big Bulldog supporters who own Million Dollar plus Prevost Motor Coaches who have purchased lots that someone thinks they are "White Trash".

Hey genius, you might want to do a little research before you spout off. I know several of the folks that bought these spots and their RV's cost around 500K. We are not talking about double wides. These spots are going to belong to some of MSU's biggest donors many of whom are pretty pissed off that they are being forced to park over at the Vet building this year.
