Yeah they did a hell of a job on the look of the place, can’t wait for it to be finished!

Pretty sure that’s the new engineering complex? I could be wrong though.

That looks good. I think that’ll be a good spot for Starkville in the future: “Midtown”

Yes.. it's a $50M engineering building. The parking garage will be built across Bailey Howell Drive from The Hump.

A lot of great places in Starkville right now.

Moes has recently upped their side portions so you get more bang for your buck there.

The new butchery down the road called “King’s” is really good and has an excellent atmosphere.

All of the new construction is going to drastically change university as we know it. I’m jealous because my kids one day won’t know the struggle of what it use to be.

The new kids ball park down hwy 12 is going to completely redesign the western portion of hwy 12.

Starkville is looking to be heading into a bright future!

Will Starkville ever do anything with the cemetery on University Drive?

Do cities ever relocate cemeteries? That is prime real estate now.

now is the best time....if we dig them up, what are the buried going to do? prevent us from winning national titles?

17 that noise. Progress isn’t that damn important. You wanna dig up a bunch of Bulldogs in the name of another damn apartment building?

I've never heard of moving a cemetery. There's at least one in downtown Boston (Revolutionary War era) that occupies land that's a bit more valuable than that in Starkville, and I don't think there's any danger of it being relocated.

I heard Starkville is getting a Steak ‘n Shake. Can anyone confirm or know where it’s going to be?

I'm old enough to remember when the only late night dining option was B-Quick fried chicken and tater logs.

I hope it’s better than the Steak and Shake in Pearl. It takes forever to get your cold fries and greasy sandwich. Love the one in Southaven but the one in Pearl needs a total transplant.

I'm not a cemetary relocation expert, but I am fairly certain you have to get family permission to move a gravesite. It's not worth it at this point.
