Wow a school raffling off guns!

We have been having gun raffles for fundraisers for 15 years.

Forbush Booster Club has done it as well.

Last year, all proceeds went to SHS Hunter Safety Team.

Sure will. We raised over $50,000 last year with $25,000 being split up and going to each sport at the school.

We did one on Tarboro last year and I think got the pot around $10,000, but I couldn’t enter it because I was one of the people selling tickets.

$50k is impressive. I’m interested know how Yall were able sell that many tickets.

The year before we raised $78,000. We sell tickets at games, online, and at events (festivals). We even sell them in front of Walmart. It takes a strong group of folks to do it and be involved.

Social media is also helpful to spread the word.
