That's a lie. Knox was upfront from day 1 about his intent to be in this draft. Coach Cal has been totally supportive. The Knox family will be interviewing agents in the coming weeks. His days of playing for free are over.

Odd response. If you have information that you can guarantee this is incorrect information, fine by me. Not claiming I know anything other then what I was told and trust who told me this based on who he speaks with and what has been shared in past. Nowhere was it said anything was definitive either way, just sharing what I was told. To claim it's a lie is ridiculous. If you have someone in know, fine, say so and if it's right, appreciate you sharing what you know. That's all that was being done here. And due to financial situation of family and thinking of where standing is/could be, they will talk this out. For example, a guy who had no chance of being drafted was gone once the final buzzer sounded last year and nothing mattered-he was gone (Briscoe). Same source told me Bam was gone when many were saying they were hearing he was returning--due to his family/financial situation. Did that make people who were saying this "liars"? Not at all. I have no dog in this at all other then I enjoy watching UK/Cal teams play and talking basketball with friends on board here. Certainly haven't nor will make things up and never claim to be in the know. People ask me to comment often based on what I've heard, so I did.

This seems a bit extreme calling another poster a liar based on his opinion/info... the Harrison twins also made their intentions to be one and done up front, and yet we got them back for a second year.... so unless you have some intel that you would like to enlighten us all with, i'm guessing you're just going with the flow of how our freshmen tend to depart after year one....

Couldn’t you simply question his facts rather than calling him a liar? He’s a pretty good poster from what I’ve seen.

Why are there so many people putting the incoming freshmen in their projected starting lineups? I don't see any of them being transcendent game changers, just solid contribution-type players. I'd much rather have some experience on the court, and work the freshmen in more and more over the season. It's not like the juniors and sophomores weren't also 5 stars...

None of the 3 may be "elite" players, but Quickley is more in line w/ the typical Cal PG than is Green. We got a good look this year at Green's warts, and he is best suited for a 1st-guard-off-the-bench role.

How does SHAI carry over in the NBA? Will he run a team or be a role player. Will he get to the goal like he was able in college? Being a 6'6" pg against a universally taller/stronger mem...does he translate well in NBA.
Personally don't think his draft status improves if he remains...but looking at current pg in ncaa and those recruited next 3 yrs, don't see a Wall, Curry, or a Trae Young within the top 25-50 of each class.
Next yr if all things are equal Shai will be top PG of NCAA.
If Shai remains another yr, what will he improve? Basketball IQ check
Strength and conditioning check
Shooting increase range check
His fg%,3pt% should both increase.
Though he is more than likely gone, pretty sure his family had planned for this likelihood. What will Shai do?

Disagree. Quade will be a very good starter with some more time and development. Not everyone can come in and dominate in year one.

I'm not sold on his PG abilities but we shall see. Either way, Quickly-Quade will be a VERY good 1-2 punch for us next season with Herro and Baker off the bench.

Quickly also has excellent size which should allow them to play on the Court at the same time. I also expect Keldon to be a big time upgrade on defense next year over Knox or Diallo.

This is why I stick to believing the man who tells me things. No matter what happens, obviously with what came out today it wasn't a "lie". It's alright though, don't expect any apology, but also find it funny you didn't seem to want to comment after throwing this at someone. lol
