That would be just par for the course. Granted, they have to get by LSU first, but it would just be sooooooo Croom for us to beat Bama now.

Flamer Disclaimer: I too hate Croom and do not think we will win this game, but wouldn't it just be emblematic of Croom's ridiculous inconsistency for us to take down the #1 team in the country?

& I agree, this may be the one game of the year we are ready to play

but, there is also every possibility that this could be a massacre of epic proportions (Saben will get his "style" points)

there is NO WAY IN HELL that the SEC is going to allow State to beat Bama if Bama is #1 when we play them. Slive will hit the red button and all of a sudden we'll get called for phantom holds, Bama will be able to throw past the LOS and then you have the extra 1 yard Bear Bryant Memorial courtesy spot. They might even throw out a 15 yard cowbell penalty. If we are competitive with them, it could get BYU-ish.

.....typical for Crxxm. It's the kind of game that he can win and ride on the coattails of that win for years, because all our sheep fan base will talk about is that one win instead of focusing on the more important overal record of losing and incompetent coaching. It's what you call "MSU Luck."</p>

The way Bama has won all year is reminiscent of early 90's Bama w/Gene Stallings: always play to the level of competition and still win almost no matter how well or bad they played. All that remains is for one of the poor little bastard teams to get royally screwed by the Bama protectorate group known as the SEC officiating crew, and wouldn't you know that that team will most likely be us a little less than 2 weeks from now.</p>

You're 3 and 6 and you're already blaming the officials for a loss that hasn't happened yet. Talk about setting the table.

When we want your input, we'll beat it right the hell out of you. If you don't believe Bama gets every 17ing call known to man at home, especially when they're good and highly ranked, then 17 you because you're just a 17ing idiot.

You apparently have never watched Alabama football before this decade, so I'll be nice and let you slide. You will see what I mean in a couple of weeks.

And I'm not necessarily saying that a bad call will be the sole reason that costs us the game (our sucktitude is more than capable of doing that), but you better believe with a top ranked Bama team that they will get more than their share of favorable calls.

I would venture to guess that even in their game with LSU you will see them get some good calls.
