Actually, ESL's conference won't let the games be played.I hear the reason why they canceled. It was because Catholic schools can’t play in the snow and ice
You're a regular Kenny McReynolds.I heard it from Lynch himself
Oswego 8A co-champs
It is official …. gD-it.
Hey they finally figured out a way to keep ESL from winning 6A.Actually, ESL's conference won't let the games be played.
Hilarious I know where this rumor startedPer Michael O’Brien, games will NOT be at ISU and rumors of games being moved to Soldier Field.
What would you suggest for Plan B?They should have been working on plan b as soon as they heard the forecast if there was a chance that ISU would close. And people expect them to come up with a perfect playoff bracket? This is a logistical nightmare.
Walgreens or CVS.What would you suggest for Plan B?
Right!Hey they finally figured out a way to keep ESL from winning 6A.![]()
Rite-aide would be the IHSAs backupWalgreens or CVS.
Touchette……. @MC63 didn’t realize you that have a humorous bone in your body.Actually, ESL's conference won't let the games be played.

A cold Stella and a Payday. They got his meds right!
That’s why I posted the George Carlin video, if you want “to be safe, and go home!” Go play baseball. I’ll certainly bet the over on People being out shopping in these hazardous conditions tomorrow. Perhaps JD should close the state at midnight to keep everyone safe from themselves!November 21, 2015 it snowed 7 inches in the greater Chicago land area with total snow accumulation of 11.2 inches measured at O'Hare. There was no cancellation or postponement of the CG vs Glenbard West game. The game was played in those conditions and rightfully so (look it up on youtube). Nobody then cared about travel, potential power outages, or strong winds. Now official statements hide behind the guise of safety. Safety, safety, safety, has become the new tool of social conformity because its a point that can't be argued against. If you say anything then the reply is "well don't you care about being safe". Just like my car, yeah, sure it would be safer with a roll cage, a hans device, and a fire suit. At some point "safety" is overkill and that's just what we are seeing here. Time to go bubble wrap my kids and lather them up with purell.
Payday!! I said Clark bar the other day… my bad.A cold Stella and a Payday.
Sweet and salty Payday with a crisp, cool pilsner = GREAT combo!A cold Stella and a Payday.
Not judging either way, but are you a bottle guy or do you go all out with a chilled chalice?A cold Stella and a Payday.
Guess you don’t remember semis in 2015, I’ll send video of my drive tomorrow on I57. I also drove to Stowe VT last weekend to ski so I guess I’m not afraid of snow and ice.Any keyboard warrior tough guys want to rent a bus tomorrow and drive I-55 and video document your journey on here? Yeah didn't think so. Sit down and shut up. IHSA makes a decision based on player and fans safety and you're ripping them apart. There's more to life than your little precious Saturday being messed up. They'll replay the games in a few days. Does it suck? Yes. Is it the right call? Yes. So stupid this is even a debate on here.
Let me make this perfectly clear for you...my best friend's kid was going to be on one of those busses tomorrow to cover the game for his school paper. Good for you that you are not afraid of snow and ice. I was worried about him because I actually care about kids and others personal safety. Not sure what the weird flex is for you on this topic by saying that you're so tough by driving in snow. Try it on a school bus full of kids. LIke I said this shouldn't even be a debate.Guess you don’t remember semis in 2015, I’ll send video of my drive tomorrow on I57. As if that's the only risky thing anyone you care for (twice removed) will do tomorrow. Illogical.Let me make this perfectly clear for you...my best friend's kid was going to be on one of those busses tomorrow to cover the game for his school paper. Off topic love Stowe. Amazing skiing. Always try and grab a Vermonter at Harrison’s when I’m there.Guess you don’t remember semis in 2015, I’ll send video of my drive tomorrow on I57. I also drove to Stowe VT last weekend to ski so I guess I’m not afraid of snow and ice.
This will piss some of you off but next Saturday is the CCL schools entrance exam and I'm sure the school reps would need to be there for that.Wouldn't they just play the games at ISU next weekend or is there a conflict in the field schedule.
I55 gets bad in the snow. I am glad it's called off.
