They were on Butch's *** the last 3 years- when we were hitting it well. Now the hitting is struggling with all the new faces and Butch's guys are carrying us, suddenly Cohen doesnt know **** about hitting

I thought Butch's stints at Georgia and Auburn (and 5 minutes at High Point College) were mediocre. I thought he was just using Mississippi State to get closer to Amory/his Dad, and didn't really care about our pitching. I thought we were in store for another McNickle.

I still would like Pat McMahon or Darren Schoenrock. Anyway....

A lot of folks thought that if Butch showed no improvement this year, he should be gone.

Anyhow, he looks quite good now, with Stratton and Graveman. Although, Reed and Routt (and the bust Girodo) are not great. I think it is mental with them more than physical.

I can admit I was wrong about Butch.
