I know most people tuned in to see what LSU was going to look like OR they tuned in after they saw State making it a game but I have no idea why the SEC Network has us on the alt channel this week.

And we’re still getting some ****** game slots next two weeks. As long as I can watch it, not a big deal to me personally...but still.

Yea, we already know Texas A&M will be 11am or 3pm. And I don't see another opportunity we will be on CBS this year, except maybe UGA. ESPN has already picked up the A&M, Bama and Vandy games. CBS already has LSU-Bama the day we play Auburn. That's good and bad.... good in that we do not have to listen to Gary, but being on CBS has so many more viewers from being broadcast network and viewed as the premier slot.

People are now expecting State to roll Arkansas, and rightly so. That’s why you get the ****** channel. Although to be fair, I wish the same rule applied to Alabama. I have no desire to watch Alabama play the Vanderbilts, Mizzous, USMs, and Middle Tennessees of the world on network television.

Teams from the two least populated states in the conference are going to be on the least available channel....

It was a similar story when we had Alabama on the ropes a couple of years ago. Folks tune in when a potentially huge upset is going down.

was this the West Coast being curious ? At 7:30 - 7:45 I thought the game was over - at least for the Central Time Zone

It also helps that Mike Leach is our coach. He is his own 'brand' and people enjoy the air raid offense. You have to admit that is fun to watch.

Exactly, folks were hungry for college football AND it was a good, entertaining game. Still can't understand why CBS picks Bama when they are playing a bottom half of the SEC type team. For example, had that Bama-Mizzou game been on CBS I would have stopped watching after the 1st Q if I even watched at all. It was totally non-competitive. I know there are a lot of Bama fans out there but other than them who wants to watch that mess.

I think it's a knee jerk thing for the network people. "Oh, Bama is on. Gotta have 'em." I think most fans are a little more selective than that.

Gary sucks but you can synch the broadcast with Neil and Matt actually. CBS gets the university a ton of eyeballs and we need that.

Very entertaining game. I enjoyed it a bunch and really would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't so nervous during it. I really enjoyed watching the replay last night. I think the replay will be on Wednesday at 11:30 on SEC network.

A lot of the West Coast is still on partial lockdown and i suspect there is a lot of Leach interest.

Gary does suck.....which I hate because I really enjoy Nessler (who coincidentally also called our last win in BR).

Can CBS do the double header thing and have MSU v Auburn same day as LSU-Bama? Doesn't seem like we'll play on CBS again unless it's vs UGA or on the CBS double header.

Yep. Of course as a State alumnus and fan, it won't be fun when we lose...to the wrong team

People tune in to see Mike Leach.
As someone said he is his own brand in a way.
He is way more interesting and relevant than all but maybe one- two other SEC coaches.
