I would love to know the true meaning of this but i will give it a go:

I believe the ship is symbolic for Champion"ship"
Chizik looks in disgust at his irrelevance after he was steering the same ship just 3 years ago.
The volleyball or "Wilson" is in fact a representation of Cam Newton....as everyone knows, Tom Hanks would have died without him.
The fact the volleyball has a dog bone sticking out of the top symbolizes Cam's ordeal with MS STATE....
and Chizik for sure went down with a tight lipped AUB ship...and this is where he washed up....on an island..all alone.
