Tried to minimize the dangers (as did the Chinese government and I wonder if that WHO minimization was due to communist pressure from China) until it became obvious that it was something real. I don't have time to do so- quite busy. I would urge you to google "Great Depression" and review what kind of an impact on the world at large that came from it. In terms of indirect impact, although I have no calculations to prove it, I submit that it might have increased the likelihood of World War 2 and the the collateral consequences that accompanied this war. It sucked a lot worse than this virus for sure. It even sucked worse than global warming and microagressions!

I don't doubt that we will if we get back to work within a few weeks. If we wait another year until when and if a vaccine materializes, I predict we won't. It will be bad. It's an academic question- this country will be back to work within a few weeks, not a few months.

Not even a liberal judge would be that stupid. Most of our problems down here are a direct result of New York and New Jersey. When New York clamped down on their citizens, thousands fled to Florida. It has to stop. Orlando had as many as 49 flights a day from New York with the big jets full of them. No telling how many South Florida had. They were walking the streets of New York City one day and suddenly ended up in Florida creating health problems and spreading their germs.

All the governor did was put a 14 day quarantine on them. He also said all Floridians who have been to New York must quarantine for 14 days, Many if not most Floridians would like to deny all residents of New York entry into our state for at least a year. They cause more problems than they are worth and have been for over 50 years.

I think it's very serious, but I don't think it will kill 2.2 Million Americans like some people are speculating. I initially said that Mid-April would be the worst, and things would begin to improve in May. I am still guessing that we will be working from home for another 8 weeks or so. While I'm not worried about what happens to me, I do worry about my older friends and family members. I will go out once per day, because I would go insane if I don't. For the most part, I have no contact with people, except at a drive-thru. I was supposed to travel to LA and London for work, but I ended up not going.
