I have never seen the two sides absolutely convinced that the other is pure evil. They loathe Mullen with a passion that is quite scary.

I have a feeling it's going to get much worse next year though. Mullen still has time to become the leader in that category as well.

Nah. We're only at 16% right now.I am a lot more rational than you think. When I popped off, we were at about 60% on national signing day

or keeping up with the Jones, or wanting to surpass the Jones. However you want to see it. No way OM comes out when they did last year with your Facility Project has State not made a big splash when we did. Now it may have been on the boards but you know the threat of State having more/bigger/nicer but some butts in gear.

Scary would be OM fans suddenly pouring forth maniacal, deep seeded, psychotic rage without being provoked. I'm not sure what's going on recently qualifies.

Mullen absolutely has the entire Bear fan base in the palm of his hand. Y'all hang on his every statement. Even when he is not referring to y'all you find a way to somehow turn it into a shot at the Rebs.TSUN is at a point where they literally can do nothing right. Starting with the Black Bear, the firing of Nutt, the hiring of Freeze, the Liggins announcement, and finally the recruitment of Richie Brown. Mullen has it to where TSUN can't think straight and I 17in love it.

Unless we reel of 10 wins in a row or something, once NSD is finally over and done with, there will be mentions of how the bears are scary either on the field or in the stands. No one is used to sustaining a long winning streak in this rivalry for quite some time so it's only natural to see a bit of uneasiness with unfamiliar territory.

Yeah, they have called us evil since 1991 ....at least. I heard the same stuff after that Egg Bowl.....criminals, cheaters, sinners. Meanwhile, they are just good ole God fearing Christians. Same ole thing with some of them.

By "right way", I mean we stunk.

But when we win, we are evil.

I'm not going to question the faith of Freeze, but I'd bet money that Jackie, whom they view as evil, has done far more in hospital and prison ministries than has Freeze. The only thing is that Jackie avoids the camera when helping others.

The Bears lie and imply Mullen is a Scientologist, which Mullen is not. But many of these Bears who would never support a school whose coach is accused of being a Scientologist, are going to vote for a Mormon next November to be the next US President.

...in the Vaught era and are interested more in socializing and having fun in The Grove instead of being vested in the team. They certainly aren't in the palm of Mullen's hand.

Actually I think most of what he says is pretty funny. I don't get jammed-up about about many things though.

Bruiser too. No need to lie, ****, just like every UM fan I know, it sucks when MSU is doing well. Just admit it and move on. I was pretty pissed off back when people were talking about Ole Miss as a National Title contender.

He can stay or go, I really don't care. I have no problem admitting he is a pretty decent coach.

" just like every UM fan I know, it sucks when MSU is doing well."

I never said that it didn't. That's not what we're talking about though.

We've beat TSUN three years in a row so the hate is to be expected. If they're hating, then we're doing something right.

and you'll see someone say this that seems otherwise "normal" but they happen to be rebel fans.

" I will NEVER take my family to Starkville ever again. They treated us so badly, threw things at us and screamed f words at my children". Seriously, I know people can be jackasses (I've been jeered in Oxford, I expect it to some degree andI wasn't showing my azz either).... but to hear them tell it, msu fans almost literallydo the old number #6 (blazing saddles) on them when they come to town.

I went to my son's school night and walked in on his teacher who was literally red-faced telling this parent exactly that. I sat there and looked over at my boy who had his bulldog shirt on and figured.... there's no way in hellshe doesn't know we are dawgs. Anyway, I had to break up the rant by telling the other lady that Starkville was nice enough that my folks retired to live there... you ought to visit. Then it was just us..... awkward! I bit my tongue, but it was the shortest meeting we've ever had.

Hell, I had no idea she was a rebel ... but lord, that fat ***** was on fire. This was in the midst of their season, so I guess it's understandible I suppose.

My son, who actually tries to like her when she's not yelling at him was embarrassed as we left. He said, you don't have to say anything, dad. I said.. well.. whatever you do, don't talk football with her.. that's for sure.

Granted, I am only speaking for myself, but I respected Sherrill. Didn't particularly like him, but did respect him. He was a Big Time coach. He earned the right to say whatever the 17 he wanted to. Mullen, not so much. He hasn't won **** compared to Sherrill. Please understand I am not talking in regards to Ole Miss. I'm talking about overall. As far as overall coaching career goes, I think the best two in the state have been Vaught and Sherrill.

How can youeven begin to compare Sherrill (26 yr HC) to Mullen (3 yr HC). He hasn't won **** compared to Sherrill becuase he's only been a head coach for a combined 38 games, not to mention beinggiven chicken **** and turning that into a decentchicken salad. I'm sure Bruiser will comment on comparing Sherrill to Vaught, even though Vaught circumvented the rules as good as any that's ever totedthe brown paper bag.

was a tad bit weaker. Especially the west. Now it's far stronger than it ever has been. Constitutes being more difficult to win. Plus Mullen wins games we're supposed to win, Jackie's teams had a bad habit of losing those types of games. But giv ed Mullen time & he'll be FAR more infamous to the bears than Jackie. Because he takes jabs @ them.

When uom had the upper hand, everything was hunky-dory. However, it's when they get gut-punched and told to like it, when they get their panties in a wad. Sorta like as long as the blacks would bow and scrape towards the boss during Jim Crow, or when the Jews would meekly go to the gas chambers when rounded up by the Nazis, or when anti-American flagburners would spit on troops coming back from Vietnam and calling them "baby-killers", or when the Khmer Rouge would round up anyone wearing glasses because they were "intellectuals".....*

*-Not saying that all Bear fans are Slaveholding segregationists, Nazis, anti-American flagburners, or Communists. Just the perception, you Bear fans don't get your panties in a wad.</p>

I bet you were really itching to get on here before NSD. I don't think you should care what OM fans think about Mullen; they are part of a ****-hole, dumpster-fire program that has been left in the dust by MSU. It is time to focus on overtaking Auburn.
