It’s just such a cruel game. We literally win it in the 9th and got screwed by an unlucky bounce and an inconsistent umpire. Just how it goes. I’ll take this over what we’ve put on the field the past four years ANY day.

Na, we didn’t do what it took to win.
I turned it off when we didn’t score with the bases loaded. The writing was on the wall. What could have been an outstanding weekend quickly soured.
Still need to finish it out.
But yeah— I expect a bit better behind the plate in a matchup like this. Unlucky on the ground rule double.
Wish we would have pulled Davis on the hit batter knowing Cholowski was coming up and only an out to get up two in the 9th— BUT, I’m not second guessing our coach. At the end of the day- this is a tournament in March.

It’s one non-conference game in March… but 17 that one hurt.
We absolutely did. Ump took it in bottom of the 9th.
As a catcher …you CANNOT allow a passed ball at all cost. We did.
Proud of our team regardless. I really thought we’d sweep and we should have. And still have room for improvement.
I hate to lose, but it’s a good experience for our guys and it’ll make them better. Lots of lessons to take.

I’ve run out of cuss words. From the inconsistency of the ump, to not cashing in on the opportunities given, to just plain out MState luck. This one hurts!
Luck of the bounce. That damn ground rule double is when it was sealed. We would have won if it bounced a few inches different. Walk off. But them 17n Injuns
Hopefully we learned a lot from all three of these games.
Huge win if we could have gotten it but at the end of the day, it’s one game in March.

They'll shake this off fine, but we may still get beat Tuesday. It'll be their regular season world series Game 7.

Agree 100% with this and I never caught but allowing this with runner at 3rd is a big No No
We gave up a 2 run bomb in top of the 9th.
Bases loaded with one out, just have to put it in play with 2 strikes. If it’s close, you have to hit it. You cannot leave it up to the umpire.
That’s the way it goes sometimes. It should be a valuable learning lesson for the team.

I love to win as much as anyone. That was some highly valuable Omaha-like experience tonight. In March. Still got lots of improvement to do. I'm happy for that.
