Just looking at it quickly and one question, why didn't we have lightbourn punt or do anything really?

D-Line underwhelming again. No pressure, limited chances at tackles for loss.

Is Parrella immune to the wrath of Husker fan? With another below average year, I would think all of the experts would demand Riley cut the dead weight.

I didn't get a chance to watch the whole game yet on DVR, but from what I saw of the first half our QB didn't have the ball in their hands very long after the snap. But I will agree with general d concern of the game. Assuming as I watch the second half I won't really learn much more. I think it will look a lot different next fall.

Just when you had spread some sunshine. I think Coach Parella is a great asset. Even common fan knows we were beyond vanilla; and its stated from several sources, we didn't really show what we have been practicing. Also reports basically said the D line has been dominating in practice - who coaches them there? There were some great individual plays, lets build on that. You do realize for all the oohs and has, the White team scored 7 ( total ).

I was there, and I thought he was announced as the punter. So not sure why he's not listed, unless announcement was wrong. Whoever it was "shanked" it, so I just assumed it was him.

The never ending dilemma of the game where your offense plays against your defense. If the offense puts up bad numbers we say "man the O looks bad". If the offense scores points we say "jeez our D is soft".

Don't put too much stock in statistics until they play real games against real opponents.

As I understand it, the D didn't play their new Diaco formations, so they were at a disadvantage. Nice to see the possible emergence of Mazour, solid play from all QBs (although since even Bunch had good numbers you can't put too much into it), and K Jr get a catch. Big QB battle this year, but I see an even bigger one next year as Gebbia comes off of his redshirt.
