It looks like a couple of college kids decided that they wanted to make some money on their drinking problem and turned a great little restaurant / bar into a crappy underage drinking cesspool.
I always liked sitting on the small porch by the bar. Now they took the tables out and put in two of those small and tall bar tables. The wood seats appear to have become ash trays. I guess they wanted more room for the standing/drinking/smoking crowd. The inside looks like crap. It's dark and nasty.
I hope Dan ends up shutting these guys down and someone with some sense comes in and returns it to its former glory. Judging by their efforts so far, they will end up shutting themselves down. Hell, if I lived in Starkville I would do it. It is a pretty simple equation to be profitable there.
