Staunton River looks to be a Top 3 team in the BRD

after their 55-25 thrashing of Turner Ashby. The most impressive part of that win was the fact that the Eagles' single wing offense gained 652 yards on the ground and just short of 700 yards total. TA may not be that good, regardless I think SR has served notice to Northside and Lord Botetourt that the BRD could be a 3 horse race.

TA is not very good this year. It's still early, but I'm expecting them to be the worst team in 3A. Still, "hanging half a hundred" on even a weak team is no easy feat. I plan to watch Staunton River at Waynesboro tomorrow night. That game should show if either team is a legitimate contender. Both teams are on the rise.
