Probably the best non suite room I have ever stayed in, Cosmopolitan is equal probably. Ask for a room with a view of the fountains at Bellagio, a $50 at check in will usually make it happen, we were on the 34th floor , I think, and watched the fountain a hundred times. It is a short walk to Bellagio or Aria and you can catch the tram from either. It is a non smoking, non casino hotel but that's a plus for us. Only one restaurant and it's not open all the time or wasn't when we were there last spring but it had just opened so that could have changed since. Definitely would stay there again. Going in April for a wedding and considered it but the wedding is at The Trump so we are staying there instead , less walking. Trump has great rooms also, full size kitchen appliances, just off the strip separated by the mall. Another thing about Vdara, the building is concave on the pool side and mirrored on the outside, certain times off the year the sun reflects off the building and focuses on the pool deck to the extent of melting things. We had no problems. When we were there last June but heard about it. Pool was good but not great, I think Mandalay Bay or maybe Venitian have the best pools!
