...the OFFICIAL Mississippi State Championship Steak cook-off is an event organized by the Cowbellions. First annual was last year and we had 40 entries. The Veranda won (judges were Johnny Cooks, Kent Hull (RIP) and oter dignitaries. The winner earns the right to go to the National Steak championship in Hope, AR. It is in conjunction with the annual Running of the Bulldogs and sponsored by Mississippi Beef council and Clark beverage. This years is July 14 in the Cotton District. Details to follow soon
