With Air McNair, we go undefeated during the regular season at least in 1994. For those that don't remember, our 1994 team was darn good without McNair- went 8-3 during the regular season with our only losses at LSU, where Maroon and White dreams die, 44-24 or something like that, to a 9-1-1 Auburn team at home 42-18 with an Eric Moulds TD on the first play called back by a mysterious holding call likely after Roy Kramer hit "the button", and to a 12-1 Bama team at home by a score of 29-25 or something like that. That 1994 team had a MASSIVE o-line- either the biggest or second biggest to Nebraska, and we had a a 300 pound TE in Kendall Watkins. McNair would have also had Eric Moulds to throw to (How awesome would that have been?), and some other good WR's like Chris Jones, Shaston Coleman, and Bernard Euell, and of course we had the two headed monster of Micheal Davis and Kevin Bouie running the ball for us, and a NFL FB in Fred McCrary. Had a pretty solid defense that year as well which featured Wesley Leasy on the d-line, Dwayne Curry and Scott Gumina at LB, and a pretty solid seconday with Walt Harris, an Andre Bennett among others. Also had a pretty solid special teams unit as well. Oh, I need to mention that Derrick Taite was the QB that year, and quite possibly high the entire time.
Also, to make this a little more interesting, assume that Jackie figured out that McNair was a QB and not a DB when he got to campus.
I'm buying!
