Exactly! Drives me crazy. Like his shows but when his nose is that bad, he needs to allow
his partner to do the shows.
I hope Brian sterilizes the mic after Steve uses it. I feel like he uses that thing as a tissue every day.
The coughing, the sneezing, taking a drink and the constant Ole Miss talk just makes The Boneyard unbearable these days. You wanna shake the "little brother to Ole Miss" image? Stop 17ing talking about them in every, single show! The little jabs aren't witty. They aren't cute. They just come across as childish and petty at this point. It's run its course.
While I agree with you to an extent...HD does the same as does BW. Bob even got in a stellar jab at them today. Relax, Francis.

The difference is that Haddad's and Walker's comments are actually funny. Funny is what they are good at. When BH and BW make Ole Miss jokes they do it in the normal course of a conversation. There is an even flow. It's natural. Steve just does not do funny very well. His shots at Ole Miss always come across as forced, pre-planned and poorly executed. It's as if Steve doesn't know how to make a show without bringing up something about Ole Miss because he feels like that is what he has to hang his hat on. I thought Steve's show was better before his life started to revolve around Ole Miss and Bulldog Burger. That's all.
I don't know how anyone can listen to any of those shows. I've tried, I'm a podcast junkie and listen on the commute both ways every day to pods but can not bring myself to listen to BSR anymore
Lifelong allergy sufferer here...about a year and half ago my doc started me on Zyrtec and Flonase every day, all year.
After having at least one or two sinus infections every year for life, I don't think I've even sneezed since last summer.
Might help some of you (even Steve maybe) in the same boat. Great meds.

My mom does the same thing w/ good results. For me a neti pot in the shower in the morning and sometimes at night if pollen is bad and I haven't had sinus problems in last 3 years since starting, much cheaper and better for you
I'm on similar here, except...
it's 4 times the recommended dosage of Zyrtec (not kidding), and Astepro instead of Flonase. I can go without the spray except during heavy pollen periods or when mowing.
The Zyrtec regimen is only affordable thanks to generics.

Well I listen because above all other sports I care about MSU sports primarily and that is what they talk about from an MSU fan's perspective. I could give a rip about listening to some national talk show podcast about a pro team a thousand miles away or even other college teams outside the SEC even if it is somehow done with higher "quality".
We are in the same boat. I would love to listen but its been over 6 months since I listened to a show. The sound is very high pitched and somewhat ear piercing on my end. Its very unpleasant and it sucks.
I just tried to listen to BB and Boneyard because of the CWS coverage and couldn’t do it.

How do we know that Steve isn't pining for a new sponsorship from Claritin? I'd be sick of talking about Stan the Man if it were me. Might be a method to this madness.
I have been on this regimen with Zyrtec for over 10 years with saline mist spray at night. Sam's Club has the best price on a generic. I will tell you something that my allergy Doc suggested and he was right. Over time your body and the allergies will build a resistance to the Zyrtec and its effectiveness will decrease so about every 4-6 months I switch to Allegra or Claritin for a about a month and then switch back to Zyrtec. This has seemed to help.
Any General Family doctor should be able to hook you up. It works. If I get lazy or forget to do my steps I suffer the next day.
that doesn't bother me as bad as the drinking out of cups with ice or whatever during the shows. Whether it's steve, brandon, or wyatt. It drives me crazy when they are drinking out of cup and making noise with ice trying to listen. just have a glass of water or coffee and pause the audio or wait until a commercial to do that. wyatt does it a lot of his video casts. That kind of stuff is just hard to listen to.
