tonight, he lost a huge portion of the fanbase. We are simply poorly coached. I'm talking in a way beyond even Joker. We need to quit the stupid slogans, chrome helmet crap and focus on getting lined up correctly. Good Grief-to not go bowling with 8 home games and a down SEC is inexcusable. Stoops will last one more year and then will be out...I've seen this movie before. He's dead man walking.

He'll be around next year where the schedule is much tougher. Fail again and Mitch will see the wretched attendance and make a move.

Stoops seemed like he had a good plan. A different and successful recruiting approach. But can't coach these boys up to do anything.

It's really unfortunate.

Everyone wanted to see Stoops succeed but he just doesn't appear capable of being a good head coach.

Very sad.

22 years of holding tickets and I'm pretty much DONE. Couple the customary disappointing season with the way LOYALTY got rewarded (no true opportunity to keep MY seats, a downgrade that costs about 20% more -- the NEW CWS -- everyone benefits!! Yeah, right...) What I'd like to know is.... Which of all these improvements makes our team block better and tackle better... and manage a catch when we touch a pass with two hands??)

The eight home games point is huge. Stoops was delivered a great schedule with perfect timing, and blew it......so far. His only salvation at this point is to somehow beat UofL.

Hiring inexperienced OC (post Neal brown) & DC's along with his own inexperience has led to mass confusion. I think we all saw it the first two years and assumed it would be fixed in year 3. It's been worse!! TV commentators mentioned it a lot. Not getting lined up on 2 punts and a FG attempt is stuff you'd be mad watching your 8 yr old sons team doing. This is D1 football with a multi-million dollar coach! No special teams coach with inexperienced coordinators?? Absolute buffoonery...

I have not posted on this site for 3 years. My last post was describing how I thought UK football would play out in the first 3 years under Mr. Stoops.

I felt like the first year they would win 2 games, followed by a 4/5 win year in his second year followed up with a 7/8 win season in his third.

This season is exactly why I didn't like the hire then and hope they rid themselves of this mistake and the mistake that continues to hire coaches that has had no experience as a head coach. Great guy and decent recruiter he is, but there is 0 player development on this team. The players that are still here have not improved from last year and that is what is really disappointing.

With 2 games left they now have to win both to be eligible for a bowl bid. While our chances are still good that we win these next two, both Charlotte, and Louisville are going to come to Lexington thinking and believing they can win their respective games. If we had took care of business earlier in the year, that may not have been the case.

UK football will never get a scheduling gift like this again.. And we are looking like we won't even make a bowl. That's Joker level ish right there. Stoops is on the hot seat... If we don't make a bowl this year or the next he is gone and rightfully so. That's enough time for a coach to make a BCS program with tons of money somewhat respectable.

Barring a resignation that contract tells me he is here for a minimum of two years, unfortunately.
Cannot go twwwe years because then you must give him an extension on his contract or other coaches will use it against you in recruiting...You will just have to make a deal and let him go
