Laviano has not led the offensive to a touchdown since Michighan State. That's 2.5 games

And yet he is still playing with absolutely no thought of replacing him. Only Flood.

We might have more yards due to michigan defensive penalties than our offensive players.

No offensive TDs vs. PSU, OSU, UW or UM for Laviano. Best chance to win?? What game is that???

But he gives us the best chance to go 1-0 this week. Just let him work through the $h!t throws and dumb@$$ reads. Someday we will go 1-0. You'll see!

of course there's no guarantee Rettig would make a difference. The key is what have people seen from Laviano against decent teams -- or when Caroo is out -- that makes them believe Laviano is the better bet than Rettig?

Personally, I'd rather see Rettig and know if he can play or not. Do I trust Flood's evaluations of practice? No, not at all..

The point is that you don't just keep doing the same thing over and over in sports expecting different results. And when you or your team is in a rut the WORST thing you can do is the same thing over and over.

I am all for putting in Rettig but don't be under any illusions that he is going to make a difference.
As much as i hate to admit it...its a team problem not just QB....CL is only the obvious and he'll grow..can't say that about the lack of fire intensity and stubborn HC or about the rest of the team...
