Ironic, adj- A word used to describe a post that is outdated and repetitive that itself is outdated and repetitive.

Why should I be surprised you State grads had to take something from the fine folks that call the University of Mississippi their Alma mater? Go figure!
...what should be immediately be banned is when somebody agrees with a comment immediately above their comment & types ^^^^^this^^^^^.
I know the term "that's gay" is tossed around a lot here, but ^^^^this^^^^ is about the gayest thing I have ever seen on a messageboard.

there's no need to argue. Whether everyone here wants to admit it, we all know who the true flagship is!
A flagship university refers to a university that branches out throughout the state. IE Cal, UCLA, UCSB. I'm not too familiar with it but how many campuses does UM have? Last I checked MSU enrolls more students in the state of Mississippi than any one else. To be clear Ohio State claims flagship despite being founded 70 years after Ohio University and being a land grant university.
there's a UM campus in Meridian too, to go along with the UM Jackson Medical Center. Ole Miss does its share of branching while Mississippi State Community College sits alone in Starkpatch! : )<div>

The term is absurd though and serves no value. It just makes the person using the term look elitist/a snob/dbaggish.
It is used to show superiority, when in reality there is nothing that shows a falgship is 'the best' in the state.

That is my point Flagship is a subjective term. If it is literally translated the flagship university of America is Troy with campuses all over the world. If you take that same translation to Mississippi no school can claim flagship considering we both have the same amount of satellites.
The University of Mississippi actually has 4 branches, and 5 if you count the Jackson Med. Center.<div>

a hypocrite. You're over here complaining that someone copied something from Nafoom and making stupid arguments that have nothing to do with what you initially stated. There are numerous posts on Nafoom that are originally started here at sixpack and not one of us ***** about it. You gripe that someone took something from Nafoom and posted it here, yet you are from Nafoom and are posting over here, hmmmm. If it bothers you that badly, how about you take your lurking *** back to where you come from! It's that simple. You just reminded me exactly why I hate TSUN because for every one of your fans that is a decent person there are 10 of you.
