The Davis Twins played in the first half and early in the 3rd last week.

This could he a good thing. Cause from what I saw the Davis twins need lots of game reps.....not bad play, but inexperience play.

Will not be back for Oregon! You don't get your knee scoped on the same knee you had surgery on and return in 8-10 days. I predict first B1G game at the earliest!

I remember when we had verbals from CJax and Tevin Mitchell. Thought we were set a CB for years.

Cav in the booth didn't last long, wonder why? Langs tired of him yelling to run the ball
On Sharpe and Benning this morning they were talking about the possibility of Coach Williams not being on the sideline may have something to Coach Cav getting back on the field.

Williams is very vocal and with him being suspended and Cav being in the booth there was really no one to fire up the troops.

Riley and Reggie Davis aren't real vocal guys so I think it's a good move bringing Cav back down on the field.

sucks for Mick

but we were assured all spring and fall that the Davis twins were special and Parella would have them ready to go - so much so that Williams decided to leave.

has anyone broken down the 2 or 3 snaps they played last week?
Don't get your sarcasm. It's been said all along that the twins & Davis III will be coming along & will be big contributors. I don't recall anywhere where it was said that these kids were first teamers. Don't get me wrong. They will be big contributors.

I think he is poking fun at the "we don't him (them) anyway" crowd...and rightfully so.

You need as many good players that can contribute as possible.
Who's to say Williams would be starting while Stoltenberg is recovering?

Consider this, Williams didn't play in the bowl game, and watched in full uniform from the sideline. That tells me enough as to what our coaches thought of him.

I have zero doubt KW would not start in front of Maurice or Stolenberg. From an experience standpoint, he'd be nice to have but personally, I'm more than happy he's no longer a part of this program.

Only out a week after getting his knee scoped? I hope so, because he looked great against Fresno St.

I hope this is the case because we need all hands deck on against Oregon and Northwestern.. Hopefully it isn't worse and he is just out a week.

Getting your knee scoped is not that bad, if the scope finds something more severe then you are looking at more than a week.

Riley indicated that nothing serious was found and the procedure, though on the same knee he injured, was unrelated to his previous injury. I believe all of that but at what point do you have to admit that Stoltenberg has a problem in one knee? It is like dismissing Tiger Wood's latest back surgery as not a big deal because it was "unrelated" to his previous two back surgeries.
I am not trying to stir up an issue where maybe there really isn't one. I hope for his sake there isn't. Still, it is worrisome...

Me...and most people. He would have been one of the two starters at the start of the year. I am sure JP would have gotten him ready to go and motivated to be a bad ***.

Bobot decided to leave and scurry off to Michigan State.

Well looking at the issue of the coaches were informing players of how they stood, earlier in year; it would make no sense for him to leave from a rotation point of view. Heading to MSU has so many variables; it would be safer to stay here if you want to impress the pros - not to mention this staffs NFL connections. ...I am sure about JP being the Coach to get it done; all this leads me to question whether he wasn't buying in or saw more risk here. If not; with all the injuries, he may think a successful move to MSU improves his pro chances.
