Ironically, most of the outrage is coming from UM fans.
Sure, some LSU fans have been upset- but for whatever reason, the UM social media brigade are the ones really crusading for Day to be suspended. Why do they care? Who the 17 knows... This situation couldn't possibly have less to do with them- and it should essentially put the whole "they care about us more than we care about them" ******** to rest.

The whole thing is typical behavior of a classic schoolyard bully. They dish it out for years, make dramatic statements like "this is where opponents dreams come to die." while pounding their chest about how big and bad they are, and the drunken goon fanbase follows suit. Then, when someone FINALLY comes along and pops them good, they go grasping for an excuse and whining to the authorities with stunning speed. So they can dish it out, but they sure as hell can't take it. I mean, we kind of expect this sniveling snitchy behavior from other fanbases who seem to embrace their "preppy ******* from a 1980's movie" stereotype pretty well, but I expected a higher tolerance for roughness from those big tough hard-livin' swamp donkeys.

Out of the roughly 20 LSU fans I've talked to in the last 3 days, every one of them have been more concerned with their passing game than players getting stepped on. Only one guy even mentioned Day, and he just made a joke about it rather than get mad.

The change in attitude among the Rebel faithful between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning has just been sad. As delusional as those assclowns are in their own right, any State fan that bought into any OM fan actually wanting us to beat LSU is downright delusional too.
Every bear in America wanted us to get pounded Sat night but when our team put on the show that we all witnessed, meltdowns have ensued. Aside from a couple of the regulars coming over to offer a quick and appreciated congratulations, I feel like all I've read in the last three days is stuff along the lines of... "Well done, but LSU is vastly overrated", "come back when you've beaten them 3 times in 6 years", and "your players are all thugs". I have no issue with anyone wanting us to lose or being pissed when we win, but get over all of this butt hurt BS.
