I think this Coen guy may work out lol. In now his 2 years at Kentucky. He has brought in Levis, Leary, Boley, and now Saunders. I would say that’s getting it done!!
Just gotta keep him safe from all the other programs. Would be a fool to think that they won't be gunning for coen left and right especially if our O is better after the scangarello or whatever experiment.

Just hope that the guy is a mark stoops guy like brad white is. I think he is unless something major major was offered.

He’s committed to Kentucky. He and his wife love Lexington and he loves coaching college football. He said when he first got back he was looking to put down roots here. Time will tell, but I expect him to be here 3-4 more years min.

Hard to beat $$$$$ sometimes. Or turn down a Bama/Georgia/LSU or something like that job. I admire brad white for being loyal, and if Liam is half as loyal we have some good years coming.

Who's better Stone or Boley?
It’s going be interesting that’s for sure. But if you say I can only have one, I’m taking Saunders. Plays better competition and is already state player of the year in Pennsylvania. 20 plus offers from The Who’s who of CFB. Ntm, his Dad is strength and conditioning coach for the Ravens so you know he cares about his fitness. Lol. But Boley is a legit prospect too. Really nice problem to have. The big programs do this kinda thing all the time.

Saunders would be a nice chip in Coen’s pocket if, or should I say when, other schools come calling for his services. Nice little package deal. And don’t get this twisted, Saunders is 100% a Coen get. Fingers crossed he coaches him here and not somewhere else. Opening odds I put at about 2 to 1 they are here until Saunders is draft eligible. We’ll see. But man, I really feel we will have to sweat this out til then.

He’s done the grass is greener on the other side with the Rams. He’s getting paid very well here and will continue to be. Not saying he won’t leave at some point, but he’s also not looking for the next best thing. He has a wife and a young kid and out of his own mouth. He’s wanting to put down some roots.

Let's pray we will be able to keep this young man when some of the other try to flip him.

Being interesting if UK goes after Corbin's QB Kade Elam who also would be 2025. He committed to UL for Baseball in his Freshman year. He has been to UK Camp and supposedly really shined. The kid got a rocket of an arm and is or will be a 4 Star QB.

I don’t think Elam will be a 4-star. Not that he doesn’t have the talent, just not the exposure to this point. Baseball is definitely his best sport but he is a very solid QB too. Really impressive kid. The kind of kid you want in your program no matter what. Hard worker. Cards got a good one but I hope Mingione doesn’t stop recruiting him. Come play in the SEC dude… no other league comes close.

What’s the run down on this guy? Stars? Offers?
As a Sophomore/two year starter, has already achieved Max Preps Pennsylvania Player of the Year ( Class 4A-6A), with 3,584 passing yards, a 68 percent completion percentage, and 54 touchdowns with 5 interceptions (these are 2022 numbers only.)

He’s a solid 2025 4 Star on Rivals, standing 6’ 2”, 200 pounds, and has time and room to grow in size and ranking.

His father is a professional trainer, and worked with Coen as he sought to be drafted from Umass several years ago.

Here’s his profile and 11 minute highlight film from 2022.

This commitment from Pennsylvania cannot be oversold!!!

His numbers are freakish!

I agree that Baseball might be his best sport.

My name is Coen not Voen
No you're not and frankly that was funny for about the first 2 times. You don't have to reply that you're coen in every single thread. Grow a set, be you're own man, and contribute something worthwhile to the discussion except I aM LiAm CoEN 😐

I bet it’s NOT tough turning down UGA/Bama/LSU if you’re Coen
