I'm surprised that Stoops didn't claim that Texas A&M should be included in the 2013 Big 12 numbers. But two of their perennial mid to lower-tier teams leave (despite their 2013 records) and they claim that they have raised the bar. The author rightly noted that SEC raised the level of play of MSU, Vandy, and TSUN.

Very perceptive:

The message being: Stoops won't be satisfied until all 14 SEC schools win national titles.
