Its common sense...they arent gonna beat their brains outbin practice and get people hurt for the bowl game....

They deserve to feel great after the big win over UofL, they will come back to earth systematically as Bowl prep work and the actual game gets closer. Also I believe finals are done now, so that frees their minds to get ready for GT.

According to SEC Country article finals are just starting:

"Those 15 or so practices will be sandwiched around Kentucky’s finals week. The Wildcats will practice Friday, Saturday and Sunday before being off Monday through Wednesday for finals. While Stoops said the schedule is subject to change, the Wildcats will practice Thursday of next week through Tuesday of the following week.

“Then they’ll get a little break,” Stoops said. “They’ll get to go home for a few days and then report back to the site and we’ll continue to practice a normal week down there.”

Misconception? You do notice that you said THEY ARE PRACTICING TODAY, correct? And the game is on the 31st. Sooooooo, what is the misconception here coach?
