And Tubby had faith in Scott Rigot as well. We know how that ended, and this will end the same way (well, not exactly; there isn't another program in the country that would hire Stoops as a head coach, so he'll be fired rather that leave on his own, but he'll be gone regardless).
When coaches get stubborn about assistants who are clearly in over their heads (and, to be fair, Stoops is in over his head himself) it never ends well. The only question remaining is how much longer we'll have this joke of a staff. But it's now a matter of when, not if, it happens.

Dawson has refused to take any responsibility for this miserable offensive showing since his arrival in Lexington. This has been the worse offense since the Curry era and these are suppose to be better athletes.
With a putrid offensive line, it wouldn't matter who called the plays

if Stoops dosent make some changes next year will be his last,Oline was relay bad special teams were bad,Ocord was bad,must replace them all
Let's get rid of Dawson as OC that way next year when our receivers continue to drop passes and our OLineman still unable to block their own shadow we can talk about another OC that's had good numbers at another school. Elliot on the other hand can go. I won't miss him.
