I think I believed it too for a minute back in the day..... pretty sure I read it somewhere on the internet and then searched for it.

I don't know what is more crazy - the thought that it actually was a law - or the fact that it was actually introduced to become a law.

I think there was talk about making it a law during all the chaotic conference realignment a few years ago, some lawmakers floated it to protect the game in case the SEC or ACC expanded in a way to make it impossible to play. But never got even proposed
