Can he put together a plan, supported by big givers that shows the NEW direction he'd like to set for Mississippi State athletics? Can he convince Croom to compromise in some way for the good of the university? Can he "find" the money needed to turn this situation around? Can he rally long-time supporters around a new self-image that calls for nothing less than excellence? Can he make it clear that the days of low expectations must end?
I'm OFF the fire McCorvey bandwagon. CROOMS has got to be fired. The offense still looked like **** today, but McCorvey is not the one calling lame *** long handoffs on 4th and 1, declining a penalty and giving up a down inside the 5, or burning timeout after timeout in idiotic situations. Crooms get paid 1.7 mill to COACH, and he has shown in these last 2 weeks that he CAN NOT do what he is being paid to do. I am sick and tired of watching our team play. It is sickening to know that once we are down 14-0 the game is OVER. Our **** tastic offense has no shot at scoring on any legit D1 team unless we start playing Temple every week. Greg Byrne, you better show you have a sack. I don't care what you have to do to get it done. FIRE THIS ******* IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
