The only storming of the field in '99 was the Egg Bowl. Then again, I got hit in the head with a pint of jack (the bottle, not the liquid) after Westerfield's FG so I may not have the best memory for recalling the event.

It is against CUSA league rules for fans to come onto the field after a game. Last year when ECU beat West Virginia at home, they were fined $10,000 by the league. Many ECU fans are awaiting see if Houston gets the same.
As for Houston, they are damn good. I am anxious to see if MSU can stay with them.

so quick to jump to conclusions. I think he is saying that MSU fans aren't seeing the problem. It wasn't a knock on your alma mater.

It's just that one guy is always pointing out who is and isn't Ole Miss. It doesn't even matter in this instance.

but I think it does matter in this instance. The fact that a fan from another school is realizing what MSU fans should be seeing....at least in his opinion.

of this situation than many of our folks.Quite frankly it`s disturbing to me that Ole Miss seems to have learned from past mistakes and we seem to be destined to repeat them. What`s the problem with that ?

because we sure aren't going to stop their passing game.
I assure you, USM won't come close to stopping it either. Houston is one of those teams you just have to match them score for score and hope you get a break. I think MSU wins because you are at home. Not liking USM's chances against them at their place. Hopefully we will get a chance to play them a second time in a championship game.
