Nutt, on what he wants to address with his team: "Going to get into that Sunday. I want to talk to my team first before they read it."

It was supposed to be a rebuilding year. I think the only serious criticism Nutt could get would be that QBs keep jumping like rats off a sinking ship. He turned Snead into an un-degreed undrafted free agent. The Cotton leaves. Has he lost more QBs than he has signed out of HS? I think so.

********. They expected 9 or 10 wins. The day that Masoli's appeal was accepted, Ole Miss's color guy, Harry Harrison, was on Sportstalk w/ Richard Cross and he predicted 10 wins. Rebuilding was the FARTHEST thing from their minds once Masoli was in the picture.

if anyone will have him. Otherwise the Bears will have to fire him one year removed from their best 2 year stretch since intergation. THINK hard before you take that job all you marginal coaches out there. You can NOT deliver what they want. It's a total graveyard if you ever have ambitions beyond them. Same for recruits. If they are your ONLY SEC offer then you should go for it. If ANY other SEC team offers, even Vandy, you better jump on it. The bears won't even be close to the near death penalty Auburn Tigers for YEARS.

He still has 3 years on the contract..and the bears aren't going to pay the buyout.
Now Nix is gone I would assume if Nutt sticks around. But Nutt no doubt has his thumb out looking for anyone to pick him and his "heppin" business up.

I heard that too , Harry Harrison was on record predicting 10 wins for Ole Miss. Cross , being the homer he is might deny it.

hell...they were 4-8 and lost to Jxnville and Vandy at home. I thought they'd be 7-5 and predicted it on Nafoom back in the summer and was attacked. Without Masoli they might have been 2-10. Their Oline was bad. Their secondary and LBs were bad.

And that was before they picked up Masoli. After they got Masoli the Bear consensus was 7-9 wins.

DevilDog is right too. They're looking at 2nd straight 4-8 next fall.

Thought Harry was crazy when he said that back in August. Think I had the Rebels winning 7, maybe 8. Never imagined their defense would be as bad as it turned out.<div>I figured they could win 6 with Moby Dick playing QB with this year's schedule.</div>
