In other news, Hollywood is still Hollywood.
Watched 2 of the new episodes last night. Both were too mushy, too gay and had too much dialogue between characters. I miss good movies and good shows.

The show was at its peak in Season 1. Seasons 2 and 3 were just ok to me. I actually really like Season 4 and thought they were setting up an interesting final season.
Been disappointed by this final season. I need to see the finale before I can judge in its totality. But so far it is feeling like yet another once great show that can’t stick the landing in the final season.

Yep. Three seasons were plenty to tell the story. Had to string it out to make more cash.

Volume 1 of season 5 was great. 3 episodes last night were trash. The placement of the gay confession didn’t make any sense. Will is by far the worst actor on the show and that scene was 17 terrible.
Right after Will as rescued it was obvious Will was gay and he liked Mike. He almost told him. Vecna used the fear of everyone finding out he was gay, and their reaction, to control him. Will came out and Vecna can’t use it against him anymore allegedly making Will stronger. Agree disagree, but it was actually a plotline play out from very early in the series.
The bigger tragedy I see is 4 seasons of Eleven trying to become stronger to face Vecna, and now Will is just as strong as Vecna.

If someone complains about any relationships/attractions within a show's storyline, then fine.
That is consistent.
Complaining about only a gay relationship within a show or only a hetero relationship within a show is inconsistent.
Anyone shocked this homo would chime in on this subject

It's an SPS trope at this point.
When there is a show with a gay character and that character gets a love storyline, a handful of posters recoil because they can't handle it, and complain about how that storyline is forced or unnecessary.
Meanwhile, there are never complaints about straight relationship storylines and whether they are necessary or not...despite many straight relationship storylines not furthering the point of the show in any way whatsoever.
But sure, I am gay for pointing this out.**
