Strasburg with 2 turnovers, down 6-0 late 1st quarter.

They have ability, but fumbled it at the 10 in their first drive.

Strasburg has been moving the ball every possession, just need to avoid turnovers and get 1 defensive stop.

If Union had converted on that 2 pt conversion last week - I think we would’ve been looking at mirror images today on offense

Glenvar has had that quick strike ability all season

You can never count them out of a game with that QB

Tale as old as Salem stadium. When you’re on Willis White field, your team better know how to RTDB. Gap scheme style, non of that zone covered un-covered stuff.

Was a clinic on how to run the T formation today.

The Rams big boys up front made the difference today. The Rams were playing for more than a championship. They were playing for their headcoach and his battle all season. They were playing for a community that has been waiting a long time for this. They were also playing for one of their youth coaches who passed this year. They were a team of destiny this year. Proud of these boys us a understatement

Strasburg is now The Man in class 2 until somebody beats them next year in playoffs or they repeat. Hopefully the GMen can get back in the mix next year. Congratulations Strasburg, The Champs.

A bunch of teams at top of class 2 will be replacing a bunch of talent , including Strasburg who is losing just about all their contributors except #1 Williams. I think it helps that Graham played so many young guys this season . That should give them a leg up as a favorite for next year . I don’t see any of the final 4 repeating next year.
Poquoson is losing all of their skill guys and a few linemen. Armstrong is losing a bunch of those guys , Union barely has any contributors coming back , and Glenvar is losing all them WRs and that Qb. We could see new blood emerge from somewhere else , perhaps Radford or Gretna or the new Southern Gap school may make some noise. Can’t wait

In D, Graham, but Ridgeview had a young team and is loaded with talent. Ridgeview was 1 two point conversion away from beating Union and playing Glenvar the following week. Preseason favorites and probably ranked first is the GMen, but the man come next August is the team that won it, Strasburg.

Didn't Union win by a TD in that game?;)

Ridgeview has a ton of talent. Line might be a weakness next year, unless they find some beef. Union has some young players that can step up big time next year, but the coaching hire will determine the Bears' ceiling next year.

Graham is for sure loaded, and the DL will for sure be stout again. What about the OL?

I think OL may lose 2 starters. They’ll also lose Roberts and Lilly on offense but backup QB younger of Palmer brothers should do just fine especially the more games he gets under his belt.

Defense loses Elick & Lilly; entire DL returns.

Graham will have a sophomore running back who is a bolt. Very fast and we havent had that since first team All State Clements graduated. Palmer will be a a 1-2 punch with power and speed from the upcoming youngster, with both getting carries at running back. Graham will be a lot better next year, but will start 0 and 1. Bluefield, WV, lost basically on the last play of the game in the West Va AA title game this year. Bluefield returns basically the entire team and is Graham's longtime rival. Bluefield has a D1 QB and they are loaded. We have a real chance next year to possibly return to a State Title Game, but will likely have 1 loss on the record to Bluefield like we did in 2018 when we beat Goochland.
