@stricklinMSU: @CroomDiaries IMO, big board should enhance, not dominate, game experience. We’ve crossed that line. It’ll get fixed

Didnt they already "address" that before the season, i.e. shorter commercials,

fewer of them and not at critical times of the game? Just goes to show you its more about the $$ & ¢ than the fan experience. I've been a critic of the stay at home and watch it in HD , on my couch, drink my beverages, etc but I'm standing squarely on the fence about to jump on the other side. Is it only going to get worse with another screen and speakers? I posted at 1:00 this a.m. when I got back couldn't believe they did the Mercedes commercial during a critical time out when the fans had Maroon/White starting up and drowned out the beginning of it only to go straight to that ridiculous Columbus Orthopedic app add.

This was pathetic, but it was also the perfect moment to display the nuisance the video board has become.

Screw Scott stricklin if he has to have fans to tell him how to do things he doesn't deserve the job. Anybody with half a brain knows how to use the boards for the game. I think I heard someone in here give a good advice. Show only commercials before and after games. Maybe some at halftime. But during the game it should be used to pump up the crowd and show replays only

The video board had gotten steadily worse every year under Stricklin's watch. It is now a shameful embarrassment.

There I'd plenty else Strick is failing at (BRACKY).

I'm ready to see some new blood in the administration. That these people need to be convinced the video board is unacceptable or that our compliance is a critical and unnecessary barrier to success, means we need regime change.

I was blinded by the dam thing, annoyed as hell during the game. I'm not going to drive 4 hours to experience that again.

This. We have somehow figured out how to make our Jumbotron a nuisance. The way we use it, it wouldn't bother me if we unplugged it and just let the band play during breaks.

Some of you young whippersnappers with mad computer skilz ought to be able to figure out how to hack the dam thing.
Naturally we would want a skull and crossbones with the officially unofficial sixpack logo featured prominently.
