to get to 75K. I think the lower deck with luxury seating is in the next few years.

VA Tech, Lane Stadium. Their endzone construction cost 52M. That drawing of our stadium looks better, imo because of the connected lower levels.

Are they building boxes on top of the west side upper deck, or removing the upper deck completely and replacing it with boxes only. Either way I am unimpressed. The former would bea waste of spaceand the latter would look like ****. If you are going to remove the west side upper deck, make it match the east.

This is like a bunch of kids who've had a bad week (recrootin) and our dad (Strick) takes us to get ice cream (stadium expansion pics) to make us feel better. It worked. thanks for throwing us a friggin bone, Strick.

I wish I could find some digital files of the current stadium. My office has Revit Architecture and I wouldn't mind putting together a digital model of the proposal for animations and marketing purposes. When I was interviewing for jobs at graduation, HKS sports had a bad *** animation of the Dallas Cowboys stadium and every guy that interviewed that year wanted to work there. I am sure the same could be said for people donating money.

Hey athletic department, I will be willing to put this together for you for a nominal fee. Hell I will do it for 2 box seats a season for the rest of my life. Consider it professional services for tickets. Easy trade.

better yet, this weekend they should get that digital file and put it on the jumbotron when the players are walking through. Just to see what is coming up. I am assuming since they have the programming document in hand that populous has a digital model of the proposal. It would be nice if they converted the files to sketchup and let everyone look at it through google, you know to take a poll on the different versions.

For the engineers, I don't get why there are no models of the west upper being extended to line up with the lower west? Is it not doable?

Also, I don't get the grandiose, separate endzone structures. Florida was the first to do it and it still looks like crap. Kyle Field looks ridiculous. Symmetry looks much better.

Pie in the sky but what needs to happen....Build a structure in the north that aligns with the lower and upper east. After that, tear down the west side starting at the top row of the lower seats and start over with suites and etc. Add an upper to match the ez and east upper.

they used some of all of the ones submitted. To me no flow at all and the track doesn't help

the west side will have some added luxury suites, but that is not in the phase 1 plan. I do know that phase 1 will include the south endzone addition that is in this picture, and also im pretty sure they want to do a thin lower bowl in the north endzone in phase 1. The whole stadium expansion is a 3 phase process over like 25 yrs.
