Stansbury retired on the 15th. Murray lost on the 17th. If the call wasn't made on the 16th, it means Stansbury's decision was anticipated. Even so, that's a quick turnaround to already have the firm making calls.

as far as I understand it. It's the search firm's responsibility to contact Murray State. That's why we have a search firm.

....that is the equivalent of a headhunter/recruiter in the business world. How many times do recruiters contact a boss to ask to speak to an employee? I've never seen or heard of it happening in the business world. Incollege athleticsthey normally gothrough theagents, but I'm guessingProhm doesn't have one. If Scott had contacted the coach directly, then yes that would be poor form.

Our in state media twitter tribe will make sure we don't miss anything like this during the search, but this one isa non-event in my opinion.
