This is going to be a fun team to watch!

As soon as we figure out the offensive sets when Stewart and Feazell are on the floor at the same time, this team will be really good. Adding Nick to the rotation in a few weeks is going to do wonders for our perimeter okay too. Color me very optimistic to be in a similar spot as last year, come March.

Yall’s team looks really good. I expected it, honestly. Because I think Perry and Woodard are certified studs. But, I didn’t expect Stewart and Carter to be this good. State will be as good as anybody in the SEC when Weatherspoon. It’s taken Howland a little longer than I thought it would (not complaining) but I think he’s finally got his “a Final Four is certainly not impossible” team.

I think Ole Miss could beat anyone on any given night, too. I’ve been impressed. But, I think State has more ways to beat you. And that becomes extremely important in SEC play. Woodard and Perry can carry a team on a night that the 3’s don’t fall. And vice versa. Especially with a team that plays good defense and rebounds well.

Here’s to hoping I’m wrong!
