David Huertas has signed to play pro ball in Puerto Rico and has left the basketball team. Losing Huertas and Malcolm White will hurt that team.

it's even been discussed here before. Guards are where we have the most players, and Huertas jacks up bad shots more often than good ones. But down low is our weakness, and White was improving a lot. We need someone to rebound. Terrico (assuming he stays) Warren, Polyniece and others will be able to jack up plenty of threes. Need a big man.
...losing Malcolm White is a much bigger loss than Huertas. With Warren returning at the point, Terrico White on one wing and Polynice on the other, Ole Miss will have one of the best backcourts in the SEC. Cranston looked decent as a space eater and rebounder in most games. Zach Graham may wind up at the 4 unless Murphy Holloway and Terrance Henry to beef up. If I were AK, I would think about using a 4 guard offense with Cranston in the middle and Warren, T. White, Polynice, and Graham at the guards.
that's really how he likes to play anyway. But Malcolm was athletic enough to be able to do that too. I wish he had stayed.

in terms of people with a lot of basketball knowledge- and I'll readily admit that I'm not one of those people just because I'm not all that into it- but as an average fan I'll say this- the one player on your team that scared me the most was Huertas because he could go off at any minute.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want either gone. But I understand why he left. With Warren and the others healthy, there weren't enough minutes to go around. He'd still start, but not play as much as he had been. And there will be less shots for him.
