Anyone got anymore info on this? I know a student hit a ref with some type of thrown object and was arrested for it. Just glad this hasn't surfaced on ESPN.

you are referring to then nothing was thrown at the ref. The ref came and pointed the kid out with security and said "he cursed me", and what that means I'm not sure. Alot of the MSU people down there were defending the kid, and I'm assuming he was escorted out from that point.</p>

I would have never seen the end of a game that Gerald Boudreauxwas officiating.Hell I would have never seen the opening tip of most of those games.

The game was over, the refs started leaving the court, and on the way out they said something to the MSU police. One of the refs was really mad and went back halfway across the court and got in a student's face, jabbing a finger in his face. They did eventually arrest the student, but a couple guys had to gently push the ref back and coerce him to go away.

Me and a friend were sitting floor level. I left with 30 seconds to go obviously b/c I was pissed but the person I was sitting w/stayed behind and saw the action go down. Your description is how he described it to me. Its pretty sad really.

Well I was sitting on the front row of the student section and even though I couldnt see what was going on from that side of the court, the refs exited the floor right in front of me after the ordeal. When they made their way to the exit, one (highly intoxicated) fan forced his way in front of me to the railing and shouted every curse way he could think of in front of the ref. What's bad is the ref actually stops and gets in the students face kindof taunting him. I'm just glad ESPN didn't get footage of any of these events. It could have been bad, but the refs need to leave the court without looking up and giving their attention to any of these idiots. Also I'm not sure that anyone was ever arrested but the guy that the police were "handling" was clearly intoxicated. I pointed him out to a friend a long time before this happened.
