I know when I was in school we had the Rick’s Rowdies. While I always thought there was some strangeness in the group I always agreed with the premise. Question is do we have anything/ any organization like this now? I always felt it shouldn’t have been named after a coach because that changes. We needed something that could transition like the Cameron Crazies or an org that could go across sports. I always thought the student org should be the “Hell Hounds” this could be across all sports. 60 min of Hell, 40 min of Hell, or 9 innings of Hell! Just a thought.

If up to me, I'd have more DJ, less Anthony Craven. I know that wouldn't go over with the boomers (I am one), but creating an electric atmosphere is more import than trying to understand what Craven is saying.

I agree, I like the DJ. Wish they had him set up behind the opposing team’s bench

Both the DJ and the dancers actively killed the crowd at times during the Kentucky game. When the crowd is rocking let it rock.

No it didn’t. Most of the time he did his pump up of the crowd at the end of tv timeouts.
The DJ at best had no effect. To me he seemed to dampen things every time he started up. People would be reving up and then he would start over it. That would lead to a reset to whatever he was doing. It set things back A notch. When the crowd is in to it let it be.
