football aside, the games are meant to be fun and entertaining and I thought that was a genuine display of just plain old having fun.

Should be a staple in every game in the 2nd half. Make it tradition so the students hang around to participate.

I've been on the students case before, but I want to give credit where it's due.

"Let Me Clear My Throat" is honestly my favorite video board song.

I agree, love that song at a football game. I thought The music selection was pretty good overall, and the Holder video and song is just plain great. I also thought the players dancing and blowing kisses on the jumbotron during kiss cam and "when I dip you dip we dip" was pretty funny. It definitely seemed like a more "fun" environment and the music had a lot to do with that....but so did still being in the game with LSU in the second half. We'reNotUsedToThat

I haven't heard it mentioned yet, but kudos to the crew for punting "The Physics of Football" this year as well. It was a rally-killer.

They also did a great job of singing the White Stripes' Seven Nation Army tune.

Sure, other places do it, but our students did a good job of it - I even joined in from the West Side.

That was pretty good the first year or two but it had outlived its usefulness. Plus, last year you couldn't understand a word they said. Before that it was OK.

The crowd is still having to fight the jumbo tron to get excited. The students are doing all they can but the crowd likes to feel like the team is at battle and feel apart of helping them succeed. The "silly" player videos kill that along with the commercials. The only part the sound crew has right is the "bring em out, bring em out" song when the team comes out and the closer video during the 4th quarter. I hope Stricklin continues to look for ways to improve. We need a top shelf DJ orchestrating every song that plays. We need to go back to the Florida game at home a few years back and copy whatever music selection we had for that game. A few hours before kickoff is the time to play fun songs and do funny clips. As game time approaches I prefer a more serious approach. I say all of this because I care about continuing our sell out streak and creating a great environment.

Students were great but my biggest disappointment with the crowd though

was the start of the 4th quarter. I felt like the stadium should have been rocking as soon as the 3rd quarter ended. No matter the final score, we had the #10 team in the country in a 5 point game. It was anyone's ballgame at that point. I thought it should have been rowdy as hell and only saw a few people on their feet.

Check this video out to see how the stadium should be against LSU going into the 4th quarter.
