At first, I was joking with my sideline comment. I guess not. Well, this does tell me that for some of these parochial schools, the teams football talent is not related to or restricted by the size of the school.

....and it explains how a school like Montini can put out a large number of college football players for a school of only 600. In the last eight years:

11 big 10 players, 3 MAC players and 41 D2 and D3 players. I wonder how that stacks up against, say GBW, a school almost four times their size

Don't count D3 players. Anyone who wants to can play D3

yeah, thought about that but was to lazy to subtract the 3's. Point being, these numbers are staggering for a school of 600 when compared to many of the good 7A schools
