Funny. But that’s a pretty stupid question. Bringing that many people into the area of the investigation would be a cluster17. Also 24 more hours to evaluate whether there might still be danger seems like a good idea right now.
Plus there’s no way they would have enough police and security resources with everything going on in the French Quarter.

already mobilizing LEOs from Houston to Flarda panhandle as backfills as I type. That place will have more LEOs per capita than NYC by tomorrow night. Plus military/NG.

No one was watching the gata bowl except their faithful on this board and whoever didn't bother getting to jacksonville.

Move one of 'em to an afternoon game. I'd think the Sugar Bowl would be a lot more readily protected in the daylight.

I'd forgotten the Gatah hadn't been played yet.

I'm glad they postponed. I don't know about everyone else, but I could not have enjoyed the game knowing what happened nearby. I'm not really enjoying today's games.

One day doesn't make much difference, but seems more respectful at least.

Always good to hear what Ole Miss fans think after a terrorist attack.
That is who they are. Fifteen people are dead in New Orleans and now UM has to share a gameday with a more prestigious bowl. Will no one think of the poor Rebels?
