Just curious, wondering what some schools charge for their summer football camps?

Thanks guys!

I'm looking at Lake Forest and they charge $285.

Not that it happens at LF, but what do they do with the kids who can't afford to pay?

Do private schools have a different rule than public when it comes to contact days in there summer camp? Some of the summer brochures you look at have private schools with well over 30 or even 40 summer camp dates listed in CCL Blue. Cost ranges from $250-$450 from what I see.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here....

I think you can only have 25 contact days (practice with a coach, football, equipment). But can lift as much as you want during the summer. The 30 to 40 camp days in the CCL Blue are probably for teams lifting 4 times per week through June and July, which is the norm for many schools.

Whoever has the most summer camp days. I hear the CCL Blue teams have 50 day camps.

So many rules are broken in the summer it is not even worth getting into. I want to know if it is true a lot of schools are able to charge 400/500 dollars for summer camp and the kids actually pay it.

MC140 there is a school in Naperville that is all but $600 and the boys must also do fundraising for another $300 (theoretically not required but you know the story if you don't).

400-500 seems excessive but the days of no fee or limited fee is going away. 150-200 seems reasonable these days from what I've heard. Now if the 400-500 includes overnight camps etc then it makes much more sense

Free at Freeport High school. 70% low income so we want all kids to have the chance to come and get better!

GW is $175. They have a morning session for 3 hours and an evening session for less than 2 hours, 4 days per week through approximately the 3rd week of July. Not sure where they'll go for the team camp after that.
