Sun Bowl has halftime tribute to 75 years of great sun bowl moments.
1974 Fog Bowl. For those who don't remember, or most likely, weren't born yet it was MSU v. UNC -- Felker, Packer, Vitrano, et al have steller offensive output en route to 26-24 comeback win over the Tar Heels.

Also, anybody catch what Vern said at halftime when Danielson asked him to choose the winner in the Nat. Champ. game? Danielson had just discussed the "Dan Mullen" factor re: his recent hiring and whether or not it would bode well for UF. Anyway, Vern responds, "oh boy, uh, Mississippi State." Thanks Vern!

And Dana Moore still holds the Sun Bowl record for punting average at 50.0 ypp in the 1980 *** beating against Nebraska. Way to go Dana!

can win 8 games in any year that a dumbass like Sylvester Croom is coaching them they can be competitive real quick with Mullen at the helm".

Edited to add : This is the biggest damage done to the program by Croom. Ole Vern has no idea what a ****** hire we made with Croom and assumes that he was a good coach that couldn`t win at State. Now after 8 years of suckage we are a favorite media target. It didn`t have to be this way (THANKS LT) and now we have a hell of a bad image hole to dig out of.
