And I believe he knows it. I don’t think the writer of this article knows any more than we do, but I do think it’s a better chance than not that Florida fires him if he enters the bye week at 2-5.

Does this make you feel better, worse, or have no effect on your hopes for Saturday?

If you're going to fire a coach, you should do it today. There's no point in stringing anything along.

I think if he does lose, he gone Sunday. If he wins, he is there until the end of the season. If you are a coach looking to move this is a good year. If you are a school looking for a coach it could be a bad year. Urban Meyer might start to look good to someone.

Florida is one that actually could get Kiffin. And he may be finally ready to bail after they sputter to 8-4 or so at the end of this year.

I think the thought is fire him before a bye week so the interim has 2 weeks to get ready for 1st game. I. Which case he’s fired Monday either way. Personally, I agree. I don’t think that matters. If the decision has already been made just do it now.

They’re not losing 4 games.
GA, OU, Florida, SC, MSU. They are an average team, I see possibly three loses. Who knows what Florida team shows up. They struggle with Washington state at home. They will struggle in all five of those games. Non of them will be easy wins.

I have a hard time seeing a team who barely got by Kentucky, Arkansas, and Washington State having much of a chance of going on the road and beating Georgia, but stranger things have happened.

On the flip side, even with a Georgia loss, they still probably only need to go 1-1 against Oklahoma and us to be a lock for the playoffs.

This isn’t your typical Georgia team. I do think they win. But they’re not that good.

It’s not a typical Florida team, but it’s better than Washington state and UK. Maybe UM has already had their shot the bed games and been able to survive them. Or maybe they’re a pretty good but not really good team and they will lose some of these tossups going forward.
I’m betting 10-2 and a playoff spot but would not be shocked by 9-3 or 11-1.

This Ole Miss team ain’t all that great. Did you not see their game Saturday? They haven’t really beaten anybody.

I did not see this weekend but don’t think they’re that good regardless. But who do they have to beat to get to 10-2? Citadel, MSU, USCe, and UF.

They could lose to any of those teams but citadel, and I think they will lose to one of those, but on the flip side neither UGA nor OU are great. Ole miss just has a pretty good team and an incredible schedule for the SEC. If they don’t choke, they’re going to the playoffs with a 10-2 record.

Insanely easy schedule . The easiest schedule in the sec this season BY FAR .

I hate to say it but if they beat either Georgia or Oklahoma they are a lot. They won’t lose 3 if 2 of them aren’t Oklahoma and Georgia

OM might make the Playoff and our fanbase needs to not have a meltdown if they do. I think most can kinda see through their flaws and their generous schedule to know that they don’t appear to have a championship caliber team. But you can make the Playoff without being championship caliber. See two thirds of last year’s playoff field.

I don’t think they are talented enough to win the whole thing, simply put.

Struggle maybe but lose ? - hopefully, but I don’t see more than 3, likely only 2, and probably only 1 but they’re making the playoffs.

I think we’re going to beat them. Seen this scenario play out many many times.

I want you to show me what’s so special about this Ole Miss team. If any other team played like they have in the last few weeks you’d shît all over them and say they aren’t good but somehow Ole Miss is “elite”.
They keep winning. 16-3 over last year and a half. I wish we could be “not that special” like them.

Their schedule also sucks. The top teams in the SEC that they are playing are beatable. UGA isn't super impressive and neither is Oklahoma.

So they're going to the playoff and everyone needs to prepare for it. And no, I don't think they're great either. They are just benefitting from a good schedule and a down SEC.

Agree. SEC has a lot of good teams, but no really good ones. I think right now Alabama and Texas A&M are the best the conference has, and Bama lost to freaking Florida St. and A&M hasn't played anybody but always overrated Notre Dame. But who knows? Maybe Lane has a couple of Kentucky and Florida games from last year left in him. I do think their QBs are suspect and that could still come back to haunt them.

If lebby had that schedule and that record with the same scores, patdog would be trying to fire him!!
With that schedule, Lebby SHOULD be 6-0. **

Seriously, no. I'm not trying to fire him now and haven't been since Arizona St. game.
