He covers outdoor and USM and not very good either. He ran a little blurb in Sunday's paper about Bill Bell. Hell Mashek knows more than he does.

Seems to me that Al Jones only covered High School football and couldnt spell names right when I seen his articles in papers. I say BS.

We offer him money, he won't take it, so we turn him in. Makes perfect sense

********** reads this board because mr jones I may not can get to Paul F-Bomb but I'm pretty damn sure I know exactly where the Sun Herald office is. I'm so tired of this ******** about us being dirty. Its ridiculous and sad. If some idiot like this guy runs a story with absolute no facts about MSU and it slanders us and costs us recruits he should be in the unemployment line with his black eye the next day. Also along with the editor who allowed this junk. After the heartbreak this weekend I'm not in a good emotional state to deal with slimy, lyin, homer, 17heads..... Sorry just tired of this stuff.

this Sun Herald guy or Spencer Tillman wanting to try and frame this as MSU offering to pay to get Newton when every shred of information that has come out through every possible media source covering this has basically said just the opposite. And in addition, it doesn't even make good common sense that we would have turned this in in the first place if we were somehow in a bidding war on Cam in even the slightest way. If an actual newspaper like this puts out a story with NO evidence for no other purpose than to try and damage MSU's program and recruiting then I hope MSU sues them for everything they can. The talking heads can pretty much say what they want and get away with it since its just opinion anyway but a legitimate news source can't.
